2ND EAST-WEST PHILOSOPHY FORUM

HUMILITY, FAITH AND SCIENCE IN THE EASTERN AND WESTERN TRADITIONS

19-20 MAY 2016 - 1.20 DUGALD STEWART BUILDING, UNIVERSITY OF EDINBURGH

This year's forum is on the topic of 'Humility, Faith and Science'. The forum marks the second annual coming together of philosophers at institutions along an East-West axis, starting from Japan, passing through South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore, and ending in Edinburgh. The workshop is not only East-West because of the geographical locations of the institutions of the participating academics, it is also East-West because the philosophical discourse will include Eastern and Western philosophy, and simply philosophy.
